What should I do about my dog constantly barking at cats that come in my yard?
I have about 4 cats in my neighborhood that come in my yard or walk on my fence or roof which causes my dog to bark like crazy. I dont want to punish the dog because after all it is her yard to protect. My newest neighbors, (renters) have a cat that spends its entire day sitting on my fence looking at my dog. Of course my dog barks the entire time. Im sure this is causing problems for the other neighbors. I wish there was a leash law for cats so they were not allowed to just roam the neighborhood. How would my neighbors feel if my dog was sitting on their fence or walking on their roof?!?
