Though i believe all shelters should be clean as possible and take care of the animals that they keep, I don’t reckon its honest to penalize a dog because it came from a less than reputable shelter. What’s incorrect with adopting a excellent dog from a terrible shelter. As long as you know what to look for in a dog whats the issue?

well i didnt see the whole thing but the amount i saw was enough there kinda stupid no offense there like stcking there fingers throught the cages and ima volinteer in a shelter and they tell us not to do that since if the dog(animal) enjurs u the y r place in alist to get uthinized becouse the population of dogs is overcrowde plus u can get hurt and u just agrevate the animal

Either visit a local shelter or rescue group to find your next pet. Our organization raises money for groups that save these animals and find them their new homes.

Thats a ignorant thing to say you cant always asume that.

Because if you get one of those it won’t be pleased and it will be yappy and it will be a terrible dog

This is so stupid why do you need to check out the shelters. All right animal shelter take care of the animals the best they can. But I as a volunteer do agree that you should talk to a volunteer to learn more about the dog as the staff is usually quite busy.

I don’t agree that you should visit all the shelters you can. I do agree that it is vital not to get in a rush and to have done your “homework” and know what type of animal will fit your lifestyle. Then you look until you find that animal. I do believe in chemistry. But I reckon visiting all the shelters is just going to overwhelm the average pet adopter.

    wow…
    thats really selfish
wouldnt you want to save and animal
thats sick, over crowded, frightened, ect.?

How to stop barking dogs!

Hey this is John, above is my 2 year old border collie. I built this site to help others who are struggling with dog behavioural problems.

Up to a few months a go Sammy had a few behaviour type problems and barked a lot. To the point where my neighbours were complaining regularly.

I have searched high and low for the answer, I tried out lots of different methods, including remote static and vibration colars, citronella colars and various other products, with no real success.

Well there is a way......

I eventually found my way and Sammy and me have worked through our problems. Sammy no longer barks, we are both much happier and no more complains from my neighbours !!

I wish I new back then what I know now! To find out more about how I did it click here.
