Yes…but I reckon the question is “How do you open it when you have to clean it?” I just got one and it is really hard to turn the center cylinder to adjust the hard, let alone take the center out to clean.

what do you do if you are have to go to work for 8 hours? You cant leave your dog 8 hours alone, can you? Should you really let him sit into a crate for that long time? Or should you hide some kong toys & buster cubes?

oh and i forgot to say you have to boil it for 10 minutes to get rid of the jerms, but not too long or else it gets too soft and the dog can snap it and get hurt. maybe i’ll upload a video of my dogs chew on that bone, sometime..
have fun with your dogs, excellent luck!

you can buy…hmm.. my english is not very excellent and i dont know how they call it in america, but its basicly a cow’s leg, its a cilindric long bone and they slice it up at the store or you can buy it already copped up and frozen.
if you dont know what i mean you can question for help at the supermarket- just say you need it for soup or something. (its very well loved in the jewish kitchen, i only know how its called in hebrew.. )
my dogs like it and it keeps them occupied and pleased. excellent luck! :)

i like this toy! it’s really entertaining to watch my dog play with this

  • 123ehl says:

Pavlov would then test your dog in a year to see if he drooled at red squares…

  • mully537 says:

the dog opens up compartments with the toungue and when she/ he rolls it over food comes out which reall isnt teasing the dog just takes a while to do

  • DriftLinez says:

Does food come out randomly or does it only tease the dog all day long? It would seem kind of mean teasing the dog all day long. It needs the positive reinforcement – it needs to get something out of it otherwise it’ll eventually realize there’s no way to get to the food and let it go.

Buster Cubes are very reliable toys for dogs.

  • perfectelement86 says:

What other toys would you recommend to keep a dog interested for longer periods of time, besides the Buster cube and the Kong toy?

  • LacyB71 says:

LOL, His dog is whimpering thinking ALRIGHT DUDE WAIT TILL YOU LEAVE I AM HIDING ALL YOUR FOOD. LOL that is too cute. Gr8 Thought TY I am just wondering it being hard plastic and all if my pit would break it?

you r god my 2 dogs r so happey

  • cvkline says:

This is really excellent advice on how to keep a bored dog occupied and thus less destructive, thanks!

…but… the cube you show and then demonstrate with your dog doesn’t have the black part inserted into the hole in the cube. Without that, the food just pours back out of the compartments!

  • eletendre1 says:

The buster cube has a hole on one side of it. You don’t have to open it. Just pour the food into the hole and you’re all set.

    Thanks,
    Eric

How to stop barking dogs!

Hey this is John, above is my 2 year old border collie. I built this site to help others who are struggling with dog behavioural problems.

Up to a few months a go Sammy had a few behaviour type problems and barked a lot. To the point where my neighbours were complaining regularly.

I have searched high and low for the answer, I tried out lots of different methods, including remote static and vibration colars, citronella colars and various other products, with no real success.

Well there is a way......

I eventually found my way and Sammy and me have worked through our problems. Sammy no longer barks, we are both much happier and no more complains from my neighbours !!

I wish I new back then what I know now! To find out more about how I did it click here.
