Can my mom be sued for my mothers dog getting loose and barking at my neighbor?
My mother was taking out her dog one afternoon, her dog got away from her and startedat my neighbor but, not injuring him at all or anything just barking. He called the police and we were issued a citation for the dog getting loose. Now the neighbor has called her landlord complaining about the dog to him and says hes going to talk to a lawyer. Can my mother be sued for the dog not doing any hurt just barking at him. The dog is very nice and obedient around everyone including small children.
